Legendary Jesus Rock band Wilson McKinley, of Spokane, Washington, known as one of the best 1970s garage bands of the Pacific Northwest, has released volume one of an anthology of digitally remixed original recordings.

The 70-plus minute CD titled Anthology One: Message Brought to Us is the first time their pioneering Jesus People tracks have been re-released in any format, and feature an all-digital remix from the original reel to reel master tapes. 

Those familiar with the band’s 1970s recordings will be pleasantly surprised at the clear and clean new mix, and new fans will be amazed at the band’s energetic delivery, clarity of message and top-notch musicianship.

The first CD contains the complete tracks of Spirit of Elijah and Heaven's Gonna Be a Blast (their two most famous albums) in a completely new digital remix, rounded out with three other album tracks making their CD debut.  Wait! There’s More! There’s also an entire second CD of unreleased material that contains some of their best writing and ranges from straight-ahead rock to country rock to harmony-rich ballads, recorded from 1970 to 1976.  All of the best material mentioned in the article at this site made it to this second CD, including several live tracks where the vocals had to be remixed to be audible but the musicianship is outstanding.  The tracks were all carefully remixed and restored.  It’s like getting an entire new Wilson McKinley album! In addition, Randy Wilcox and Mike Messer, founding members, have provided several unreleased tracks each for the second disc. All told, the new album contains over four times the music of the pirate disc, and at a cheaper price.
